From July 24th through the 31st, we will once again be creating portraits of families and children down by the shore.  Call to schedule an appointment - proceeds from the session fee will be donated to A Wish Come True!

We are also in the midst of photographing the Class of 2011.  Any student entering their senior year will need to have their senior
portraits created over the summer so we are taking photos here at the studio and on location.  If a senior is required to go to

Celebrate a World Boxing Championship with Rhode Island's own Peter Manfredo Jr.!

Manfredo recently claimed the IBO 160-pound world boxing title with a 10th round TKO over Angel Hernandez, to improve to 35-6 (19 KO's) for his career.  The former Contender TV star is hoping for more big things to come, and he celebrated his championship with friends, family and our wish children!  Pictured above, Peter with Michael Hartley and the title belt!

A great day on the Acushnet River Valley Golf Course on Thursday, June 3rd, sponsored by the Realtor Community Service Committee of the North Bristol County Association of Realtors!

Registration starts at 7:30 AM, and Tee Times will begin at 8:00!  The fee includes a cart, steak BBQ (which takes place right after play is completed), and a raffle with prizes...with a portion of all proceeds raised for the day coming to A Wish Come True.  Spend your day on the golf course, rather than at the office - for a GREAT CAUSE!!!

Through the entire month of May, the Twist Biscotti Company in Burrillville, RI will donate 10% of their entire monthly sales to our wish kids!

It's a part of their "TBC Social Movement," where 10% of their monthly proceeds are donated to local charities.  May is the month for A Wish Come True, so call - email - or go by to pick up your favorites!

At Twist Biscotti Company, they are dedicated to providing customers with fresh, high quality, gourmet products, using only the best ingredients.  Although the business is but one year old, their passion for biscotti spans almost two decades.  The idea for TBC was conceived by owner, Shannon McClure, years ago as a young girl in her great-grandmother's kitchen.

With headquarters in Burrillville, RI, TBC has shipped all over the United States, and aims to put RI on the map as "Home of the Country's Best Gourmet Biscotti!"  If you have not yet sampled their unique cookies, then you don't know what you are missing!

Our wonderful corporate partners from Horizon Bay Coventry held an event on our behalf on May 15^th, 2010.  A formal/semi-formal affair, with cocktails beginning at 6:00 PM, dinner at 7:00 PM and a big silent auction to help us raise needed funds for our children. 

“A Night of Wishes and Dreams” showcased the brand-new facility in Coventry, located at 600 Centre of New England Boulevard. 

A fantastic dinner, great live auction and a comedy presentation by Frank O'Donnell highlighted the evening!  Thank you to the staff at Horizon Bay Coventry for a fantastic night - $14,008 was raised from this event benefit to give to the children of A Wish Come True!  

Thursday, May 13th at the West Valley Inn in West Warwick, RI was the Induction Dinner and Ceremony for the Class of 2010 into the Rhode Island Radio Hall of Fame!  At the event were favorite radio celebrities from the past and present, and we brought back great radio days, to honor the men and women in RI Radio who have meant so much to our everyday lives!

Presented by Navigant Credit Union!  All proceeds benefit the children of A Wish Come True.

Massachusetts Author, Steven Manchester, and friends will join A Wish Come True, Inc.^® in making dreams a reality by hosting the Laughter & Wishes IV Comedy Night at St. John’s Club on Thursday, March 25, 2010. 

Four hilarious stand-up comics will take the stage to make the audience laugh themselves all the way to their wallets and purses.  The doors will open at 6:30 pm, the show starts at 8:00 pm and for a minimum donation of $25.00, we promise a night to remember!  

Fall River's own funny man, as well as one of the hottest, up-and-coming comics in the industry, Smokin’ Joe Holden will be hosting the event. 

Chris Tabb has appeared on BET’s Comic View, NESN’s Comedy All-Stars, opened nationally around the country for Monique, and is one of the fastest rising stars in Boston Comedy.  Chris also has his own cable television show on Comcast (The Chris Tabb Show).

Monday, January 18th (MLK holiday) at the Bridgewater Sports Complex was an exciting day to be an indoor soccer player!  For the second straight year, a 3-on-3 indoor soccerfest for boys and girls teams U10, U12 and U14 was held, and local teams competed for our wish kids!  

There was a raffle for prizes, lots of refreshments, and each player received a tournament gift!  More than $3400 was raised for the children of A Wish Come True at the 2009 event, which was a huge success, and this year was a tremendous success, raising more than $5500!

  Thank you to Stephanie Oliari and the entire team at the Bridgewater Sports Complex for their hard work and dedication to making this event fun for the players, and a "win" for wishes!

Every New Year's Day for charity the Newport Polar Bears invite everyone to join them for a swim in the frosty North Atlantic Ocean!

Sunday, December 13th - from 12 Noon to 4 PM, big kids - little kids - kids of all "ages" too - can have their photos made with Santa Claus!  

Digital photos will be taken and made available to you for a simple donation to the kids of A Wish Come True!  There will also be refreshments, a craft table and games the kids can play! 

Plus, there will be a raffle with local businesses contributing - all proceeds will benefit our wish children.  

Thanks to A Piece of Cake in Somerset for making the arrangements with the "big man!"  Bring the kids - see you there!

There are 11 different drawings each Sunday -- and be sure to hold on to your tickets from the previous week, because after week one, the next drawing will be from the tickets you purchased the week before!  So many chances to win!

It's our 4th Annual "Tailgate for A Wish" at Snookers!

We've had a lot of fun - watching Sunday pro football at Snookers in Providence for A Wish Come True the past few years - so don't miss out on the fun this time!  The Patriots had this week off, the New York Jets and Giants were playing (not so well, however) - but we watched ALL of the NFL afternoon games! 

A raffle, sports trivia contests and a fabulous sports collectible silent auction were a part of the proceedings - all for our kids!  Tickets were just $10, and includes the cost of the all-you-can-eat tailgate buffet!  What a DEAL!  Plus - if you buy the ticket, you'll also receive FREE POOL!

Thank you to Snookers, Coors Light, Sports Radio 103.7 WEEI-FM and our wonderful volunteers for another great day!  Come and see the brand NEW Snookers location at 53 Ashburton Street in Providence, just behind the downtown Marriott!

Little ghosts and goblins in costume may be photographed in their pumpkin patch, with treats and goodie bags provided for both young and old!  

As they have done over the past 18 years, part of the proceeds are donated to A Wish Come True.  Their studio is located at 640 Putnam Pike in Greenville, RI.  Check them out on the web at www.genehutnak.com.

It’s the “End of Season Massacre,” sponsored in part by SkiMarket Underground of Warwick, Vile Productions and Dunkin’ Donuts, scheduled for Sunday, October 25^th from 12 Noon to 6:00 PM . 

There will be skating and snowboard competitions, open to the public – plus a Halloween costume contest that anyone and everyone may enter!  Seven different local bands will also be playing throughout the afternoon, including Rhythmafia, Scott James, Haze, Abbicus, The Grave Reviews, Bogus Trizzy and more!  The best part of it all – is that entries for the competitions and to listen to the bands won’t cost a penny!  That’s right – it’s free!  Donations will, however, be accepted on behalf of A Wish Come True, Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts oldest wish granting organization. 

There will be prizes for the top competitors and for the costume contest.  Registration for the skating competition will begin at 12 Noon , with the event beginning at 1:00 PM .  Registration for snowboarding competition begins at 4:00 PM , and will run until 6:00 PM .  All contests and live music will take place at the SkiMarket Underground in Warwick, 500 Greenwich Avenue.

The Bay View Holy Ghost Club is sponsoring a Mixed Single Pool Tournament and a Mixed Single Horseshoe Tournament on Saturday, October 17th.  The fun starts at 1:00 PM - make sure you stop by to sign up - only $10 per person to enter!  Proceeds from both events will go to our wish children!

Fore!  Another great chance to play for our kids at beautiful Swansea Country Club.  Foursomes or single players are welcome!  Entry fee includes cart and an all-you-can-eat chicken and rib dinner!  A raffle and some great gear will be available!
