PAULA PAIS LEACH
Senior Vice President Customers Bank
Paula has been on the Board of Directors since 2021 and has served as the past Treasurer, Vice Chairman and Co-chair of the 40th Annual Gala. In 2023 she was unanimously selected as the Board Chairman. She has over 25 years of strategic planning and business analysis experience, She is the Sales & Marketing Product Owner at Customers Bank. Leading agile project teams, she specializes in delivering sales-enabling features and solutions for the commercial lending sector.
Her dedication lies in enhancing customer satisfaction and business efficiency through innovative and collaborative strategies. Proficient in Salesforce and nCino, She holds multiple certifications from LinkedIn in requirements elicitation, agile foundations, and remote/on-site organization. Her core competencies include entrepreneurial adaptability, agile design thinking, mentorship, coaching, and effective communication. Paula is excited to bring her level of expertise to the next chapter of A Wish Come True.

SEAN FINNEGAN
Financial Controller for the Finetco Family of Lumberyards
Sean Finnegan is a proud father of two beautiful children, Jaxson and Vivianne where they reside in Coventry, RI. Sean is the Controller of Finetco, A Family of Lumberyards, where they have three locations in RI, MA and CT. Sean is involved in their family and company charitable organization, Finetco Charitable Foundation, where they proudly raise and distribute close to $35,000 a year to different organization and charities. Growing up, Sean realized how important it is to give back being brought up in a very philanthropic family and proudly serves on the board for all AWCT children and families. Having two young children, being passionate about an organization like AWCT comes easy and working with all likeminded, goal driven board members make being part of AWCT’s mission an honor and privilege. Sean looks forward to getting more and more involved with the organization and involving his children in all our great events and causes just like he was lucky enough to be exposed to as a child.

Ron has been re-elected as Board Secretary. He has been on the Board since 2019 and brings a very unique perspective to the organization as he is the first Wish Child that is on the Board of Directors. Ron has also participated in Board Governance and Program enhancements to meet the needs of our Wish Families.

JEFF BECKWITH
CPA for Kahn, Litwin, Renza & Co., Ltd.
Jeff Beckwith is a CPA and a leader at Kahn, Litwin, Renza & Co., Ltd (KLR), a premier regional accounting firm. Prior to joining KLR, Jeff was a Senior Manager at KPMG LLP for multiple years. Through his work, Jeff is responsible for overseeing the audit and accounting services of clients throughout the New England area. His financial experience brings additional expertise to the Board. In addition, Jeff is a former wish kid who received his wish when he was 6 years old. He is passionate about the mission that the organization delivers and is honored to be able to contribute to the place that made such a positive impact to his family as well as others.

Entrepreneur / Real Estate Professional
Sean Carey brings experience as an accomplished and lifelong entrepreneur to the board of AWCT. After many years as a business owner, franchisor and leader in the Health and Wellness industry, he is now become a consistently top producer in the real estate industry licensed in both Rhode Island and Connecticut. Sean is the proud single dad of two amazing children Alexander and Megan and resides in Coventry RI, where he has been actively involved in local youth and high school sports as a coach and volunteer for many years. Sean has decided that now is the time to shift his focus onto more philanthropic endeavors and is excited to use his passion and work ethic to be an active member of the AWCT Board of Directors. Sean joined the Board in 2023 and is on the Fundraising and Property Committees.

JOHN CARVALHO
President/CEO Apollo Safety
John Carvalho is an accomplished leader in the field of gas detection, with over 25 years successfully managing his own business. As a 50-year resident of Fall River, John is actively involved in a number of philanthropic efforts in the city, including serving as a member of the Bank Street Neighborhood Association and also as a volunteer trainer for the Junior Achievement program in the Fall River school system. Additionally, he serves on the board of directors for The Deaconess Home and a Woman’s Concern – A Pregnancy Resource Center in Fall River. John has been on the Board since 2020 and is on the Finance and Property Committees.

Colleen Duffy is the President of the Meghan Duffy Foundation, is a Board of Trustee for Providence College and has years of experience as an attorney and community leader. Colleen has been the AWCT Board Chairman for the last 4 years and has done a tremendous job helping to grow the organization throughout that time.

BILL FINNEGAN
President/CEO Finetco Inc.
William (Bill) Finnegan and his wife, Kerri, created a startup company in 2002, NETWORK Piping, which quickly grew into an international distribution company with locations in RI, NY, and MO. In 2011, the Finnegan’s sold NETWORK piping to a private equity firm, and in 2012 purchased Coventry Lumber as their first exposure in the retail lumberyard industry. Since then they have purchased three additional yards, West Haven Lumber and Waterford Building Supply in CT, and E L Morse Lumber in Wareham, MA. Bill is on the Governance Committee, Finance Committee and Fundraising Committee.

Bruce is the President and CEO of Butler & Messier Insurance Company. He is a graduate of Bryant University and the United States Naval Academy. Bruce is very active in Rhode Island and has served on numerous Boards including the RI Governor's Insurance Council, the RI Auto Plan Governing Committee, the RI Judicial Nominating Committee, and the Pawtucket Boys and Girls Club. Bruce and his beautiful wife Janine live in Burrillville, RI.

Steve Napolillo is the Athletic Director at Providence College. He has been involved with A Wish Come True at an early age, when his cousin Ron received his wish. He has been on the Board of Directors since 2019. Steve has been the past Fundraising Chairman of the Board and has established an incredible partnership with A Wish Come True and Providence College. He has run multiple successful events for A Wish Come True and he has brought significant awareness and relationships together to help grant as many wishes as possible.

AGI Construction
Amy Parker has been practicing law for the past 20 years concentrating her practice in construction litigation and employment law. She is General Counsel and Director of Human Resources for AGI Construction. She graduated from URI and received her JD from Roger Williams University. Amy also spearheads and organizes most of the charity fundraising events where she became involved with A Wish Come True. Each Year, AGI Construction has done a huge employee giving campaign. Amy has been on the Board of Directors since 2020 and has previously served as the Governance Chair and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors.

MICHAEL POIRIER
Vice President of Customer Success at Global Interconnect, Inc.
Michael has a successful track record of developing and implementing progressive strategies that exceed service, quality, and growth within the health and wellness sector, most recently as the CEO of Work Out World New England. Michael is a proud father of 3 young children, Paisley, Aviana, and Sylvie who have helped motivate and inspire him to get more involved with Philanthropy efforts. He and his wife Lindsay, a Swansea school teacher, reside in Swansea MA.
“It is so special to involve my children in these efforts and help them understand the true joy of giving back." Across his accomplished career Michael has contributed his time and financial means to create a platform for those in need of assistance and support. His strong connection to community vendors and ties to Southeastern Ma will allow AWCT to broaden their span. His commitment to AWCT’s mission statement is deeply rooted. Mike has been on the Board since January of 2023 and has been on the Governance Committee, Fundraising Committee and has co-chaired the 20th Annual Polar Plunge.

TRACY WALSH
Director, AIPSO Insurance Operations, Personal Auto
Tracy is excited to be back on the Board at A Wish Come True. Tracy has been an active supporter, a prior wish granter and a prior Board member since 2007. Her passion for the mission and vision at A Wish Come True makes her a valuable addition to our current Board.
Tracy is currently in her 32nd year at AIPSO, where she has held supervisory and management roles in the Financial Services, Audit Services and Field Operations areas. In these roles, she has worked with numerous Boards across the country. Tracy lives by “actions speak louder than words”. She is known for her willingness to help others and for sharing her knowledge freely. As a leader, she is not afraid to set high standards for herself and those working with her to achieve collective goals.
Tracy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Providence College. She holds the professional designations of Certified Internal Auditor and Associate in General Insurance. Tracy has served on the Board of Governors and as a past president for the Ocean State Chapter of Internal Auditors. She is a graduating member of the NU II Class of 2017 for Leadership Rhode Island. As of 2024, Tracy serves as the Governance Committee Chairman.

Evan has been in the Board Associate role at A Wish Come True since 2022. He is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island with a bachelor’s degree in general business. He is the Purchasing Manager at Finetco and he oversees operations at three locations, Coventry Lumber in Rhode Island, West Haven Lumber in CT and E. L. Morse Lumber in MA. Evan also serves on the Rhode Island Lumber and Building Materials Association as the 2nd Vice President and will serve as the 2024 Golf Outing & Clambake. He is very active in community service through his active involvement in Finetco’s Charitable Organization where he passionately gives back through volunteering, philanthropy, and personal support. Evan has been the co-chair of the 20th Annual A Wish Come True Polar Plunge and his diverse contributions in the community makes him an incredible asset to A Wish Come True. Evan resides in Coventry, RI.

RYAN FINNEGAN
Outside Salesman at Finetco
Ryan has been a Board Associate since 2022 and is currently a member of the fundraising committee. He was the Co-Chair of the Trunk or Treat event for our Wish Families. Ryan is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island with a bachelor's degree in general business administration. He is currently an Outside Salesman for Finetco working closely with different contractors to maximize efficiency and introduce best in class products splitting his time between three locations. He is also a Board member of the Rhode Island Builders Association. He is very active in community service through his active involvement in Finetco’s Charitable Organization where he passionately gives back through volunteering, philanthropy, and personal support. Ryan was born and raised in Coventry RI. Ryan assisted in working with contractors to help us build Nap's Nook.
